Membership Eligibility

Members must have a minimum of five years experience in estate planning work in their related field. Members are required to meet a minimum standard of accreditation in their respective fields such as Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Accountant, LLB, etc.

How Do I Join?

In order to join the council, potential candidates must attend 3 meetings at the invitation of a member. Following the attendance of three meetings the candidate may apply for membership. The application process requires supporting nominations from two current members. Please contact the Membership Secretary on the council executive for further details.

Estate Planners’ Council of Hamilton

The Estate Planners’ Council of Hamilton (EPCH) is a not-for-profit organization of accredited professionals from interrelated disciplines such as legal, tax, investing, insurance, trust and charitable gift planning whose members advise the public on different aspects of estate planning and administration.
